It may be of interest to inquire, What was the subject which drew from Mr. Scovel this expression of willingness, it not anxiety, to gain the co-operation of Rome? He was writing of a movement of the Catholic Church in Europe, for the strict observance of Sunday; and it is to compel everybody to keep Sunday that the National Reformers want the Constitutional Amendment, and legislation under it. Now as the Catholics in Europe are earnestly engaged in it, the question occurs to the National Reformers. “Why shall we not join hands with the Catholics in American, so that we can win? NOTE: When a conversation with a priest was shared in the above article, it said, “What is your church going to do with the Religious Amendment movement? are you going to help it forward? are you going to vote for it?” “Oh,” said the priest, “we have nothing to do with that. We leave that to the Protestants, we let them do all that. They are coming to us, and we only have to wait.”
It was also stated in the above article that the current Pope’s namesake “Pope Leo XIII” said “All Catholics should do all in their power to cause the constitutions of States, and legislation, to be modeled on the principles of the true church, and all Catholic writers journalists should never lose sight, for an instant, from the of the above prescriptions.”
That all being said, was it not prophesied in 1882 that, “When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near.” {5T 451.1}
The reason the SDA leaders cannot see this is because the only way to understand prophecy is to obey the God that wrote it. And as prophesied, the SDA church no longer stands with Christ to the point, Sister White declared with prophetic accuracy that the remnant people have left that church.

When Jesus died for us, an earthquake caused many graves to open which also caused the temple veil to be torn in two proving the presence of God was no longer with the Jewish nation. But the bodies of the saints did not resurrect until after Jesus did 3 days later.
It says in Matthew 27:52-53, "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, (53) And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."
Reading in context it clearly says "many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection."
Some assume that because verse 53 starts in the middle of the sentence in Matthew 27:52-53 that it has to be two separate statements.
The real reason I believe they refuse to preach this as it is written is two-fold.
#1, They have no choice to do so because if they preached the truth here, that would mean they would have to stop preaching about how they believe Christians arise unto Heaven at the moment of death wherein Jesus has no say so in the matter. Satan needs to keep his spiritualistic lie that "ye shall not surely die" intact so that he can manipulate millions who believe dead loved ones have visited them from the grave instructing them on Satan's version of Christianity, or worse yet, he needs to cultivate many into preaching his "immediate life after death" by giving many people what they now call "near death expereinces" wherein they believe God made a mistake in letting them die and they need to go back to earth to preach Heaven is for everyone regardless of their sinful lifestyles.
As we know, at the return of our Lord, Saviour and King Jesus He calls all that are worthy from the grave on that great and dreadful day.
Those saints 2000 years ago remained in the grave until Jesus arose proving He was involved as He will be when He returns.
Everything Jesus did and said during His ministry was done to lock down every doctrine as absolute truth that was ever written by the patriarchs and prophets from Genesis to Revelation. Those saints awaited His call to arise in the same way countless numbers of saints will soon arise at His second coming. The prophetic and doctrinal whisper is quite blatant here.
The context is clear in this passage found in Matthew 27:52-53. In fact, if you only read verse 53, as some are tempted to do after embracing their pastor's twist on it doesn't make any sense without the previous verse as part of the message. But then, many man-made doctrines and traditions have been created that way all throughout the church for 2000 years.
The basic truth is, the graves were opened; but they didn't arise from the dead until after Jesus did as prophesied in Isaiah 26:19 which says, “Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise.” Seems rather blunt to me.
#2, The other reason I believe these preachers are moved by Satan to sidestep the truth is that the Bible clearly shows those graves were allowed to stay "open" due to the fact that they were not allowed to close or repair them on the Sabbath in the same way the women tat came to anoint Jesus' dead body, turned back because the Sabbath was drawing near. In fact, it says in Mark 16:1 that "when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him."
If the preachers of today were to acknowledge that Biblical fact alone, they would also have to declare the Sabbath was never changed because, just as Jesus “rested” in the tomb on Sabbath, so did those saints that had their graves opened the very day He died.
And just so you know, those saints, are the 24 elders of Revelation 4:10 that says "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne."

MOST HAVE NO IDEA THIS HAPPENED
Today, most pastors have no clue these prophecies were fulfilled. That means most Christians have no idea either. Where are the pastors that teach the flock to repent so as to get ready for the Lord’s return? And why aren’t Christians studying or even reading their Bibles?
What’s happened in our generation alone is rock hard evidence that Jesus is coming a LOT sooner than anyone could ever imagine. And this includes a long list of false prophets out there that have set all sorts of dates.
Just to name a few of these prophecies in the Bible out of so many, (I literally lost count) we have the prophecy that stated people in this generation that once believed in God and His Law will eventually come to forsake God’s Law openly right before He comes. Then, and this is not in any sort of chronological order; we have the prophecy that we ALL see easily as fulfilled in our day regarding how the love of many will wax cold. I am seriously considering making a page all about this one as I keep finding articles on this. Then of course, and this is something that has to irk EVERY Christians alive even today, the prophecy regarding Christian persecution rising is now the norm in most nations, including the USA.
Now this next prophecy was something I literally had to stop researching articles on it a few years back as it was fulfilling so far off the chart that I just couldn’t keep up, and especially in the USA. The prophecy I’m talking about has to do with how animals of all sorts, which includes, birds, fish, cattle and even insects are to die in massive numbers right before the end. This is fulfilling in every country and in the USA, it’s off the chart in EVERY STATE!? Yet, unless it’s something that can’t be hidden from the locals in each area, the main stream media covers it up!
Next, the prophecy that says most (and this includes nearly ALL Christians) will believe and actually trust as doctrine some very easy to prove lies from their pastors and priests over plainly written Scripture. That one floored me when I came across it because I would have hoped opening a Bible would help them see the truth on all this. Still, I do praise the Lord that there are some obedient Christians that as prophesied in Revelation 18:1-5 do leave these apostate churches. But then, most stay in these fallen church because there are so many bogus bibles with thousands of verses missing in them. The prophetic truth has been literally deleted in those Bibles!
As for the prophecy regarding how perilous times shall come, this works with yet another prophecy regarding how disease and famine would be prevalent all over the world in our day. And today, they literally need computers to keep up with all the new diseases and their hundreds and sometimes thousands of strains per each disease.
In recent years we have seen a very strange and cold religious system that openly denies God’s power so as to openly form an image of the beast in Rome. Seriously, did you see what I posted regarding what just happened the other day regarding that prophecy? That was one massive fulfillment that catapulted us all that much closer to the return of Christ than any other thus far!
And this next prophecy, which billions have seen fulfilled even as far back as our grandparents day to the point, there are actual Christians living today that openly deny Noah’s flood. I mean there is literally a plethora of videos showing modern day scientific facts proving a global flood yet many now say it never happened? WOW!
This next prophecy was not only fulfilled a few decades ago, it grew in acceptance with many young people to the point that in my teen years it was a very popular past time.

ANSWER:
#1, No, JW’s are very much off the path of truth. They not only keep Sunday holy, they have many other strange doctrines not found in the Word. Plus their so called “prophets” have falsely predicted the end of the world literally dozens of times. That fact alone puzzles me as to why people are still in that church. If you believe the Word, it says false prophets will predict the date of the end of the world. If they were to do this once or twice, one can see that it would be a good reason to leave that church. But they did it dozens of times and still the people remain within? Why? Do a study on the strong delusion that is sent those that hate the truth when you get time. A good starting point would be 2 Thessalonians chapter two.
#2, Yes, all those that were obedient to the Lord and did what was needed to be done in the Sanctuary when they sinned, are just as saved as those that were obedient to the Lord and repented in the New Testament. The Old Testament Sanctuary service was an open profession of faith in the coming Messiah just as much as baptism is an open profession of faith in the Messiah who already came.
QUESTION #173:
Please explain 2 Corinthians 3:14-15. My grandma came up to me and showed me 2 Corinthians 3:14-15 and said that is the reason why they don't need to keep the Sabbath. How do I explain this?
ANSWER:
The verse in question is…2 Corinthians 3:14-15, "But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart."
The vail represents the blindness upon the eyes of those that refuse Christ as Lord. This passage has nothing to do with the Sabbath at all. It simply means that when people accepted Jesus Christ as Lord the “vail was lifted” off their hearts and WISDOM blessed them with the ability to understand Scripture. But as verse 15 intimates, the Jews, who refuse to accept Christ as Lord and only read the books of Moses, for them the vail remains and they cannot see the truth clearly.
If I was to declare this passage in today’s language I would have to say, the minds of the Jews were so hardened by hatred of Christ that even as He stood before them explaining the truth better than anyone else, their blindness remained upon them. But that blindness is lifted for all those that accept Jesus because His Spirit opens their eyes.
This is also why Jesus said in Matthew 13:15-16, "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear."

CLAIM #7… Romans 14:5 "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
After all is said and done, if you just read this entire pamphlet, you know that you just discovered Biblical evidence that absolutely every single verse every used to claim Sunday is the Sabbath was done so in a deceptive manner to make Scripture appear to say something it never said. Some will ask why have all the churches done such an evil act as this? In Daniel 7:25 we find it prophesied that a beast would “think to change” the Sabbath so as to get “all the world” to wonder after him as Revelation 13:3 predicts happens right before the end of the world. Look around. Do you see it fulfilled? All Christian churches now keep Sunday as Sabbath, even though you now know for a fact there is not a single verse in the Christian Bible to warrant such a change as this. In case you missed the hint as to who it is that changed the Sabbath earlier. Perhaps the following quotes from the Roman Catholic Vatican will help.
"Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act... And the act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things." -H.F. Thomas, Chancellor of Cardinal Gibbons. Nov. 11, 1895
